Classified Usage Terms

1. Nature of Service

Hmong Connect allows members of the Hmong community to:

• Post classifieds (items, services, experiences)
• Contact other members via internal messaging
• Exchange freely within the community

Important: Any exchanges are made directly between members, outside the platform. Hmong Connect does not intervene in these exchanges.

2. Posting Classifieds

What you can publish:

• New or used items
• Services (crafts, lessons, help...)
• Experiences (tourism, workshops, events...)
• Temporary rentals

Your responsibilities:

• Post honest and accurate classifieds
• Use photos that accurately represent your offer
• Comply with applicable laws
• Do not post illegal or inappropriate content

3. Exchanges Between Members

Hmong Connect does not handle any payments.

If you wish to exchange with a member:

• Contact the other member via messaging
• Agree together on the terms
• Complete the exchange directly between yourselves

Advice: Prefer in-person meetings or secure payment methods. Be wary of offers that seem too good to be true.

4. Limitation of Liability

Hmong Connect is only a connection platform.

We are not responsible for:

• The content of classifieds posted by members
• The quality of items or services offered
• Exchanges made between members
• Disputes that may arise between users

Each member is fully responsible for their classifieds and their exchanges with other users.

5. In Case of Problems

If you encounter a problem with another member:

1. First try to resolve the problem directly with the person
2. If necessary, report the behavior via our contact form
3. We can suspend accounts that do not follow the rules

Note: In case of dispute between members, we cannot intervene in the exchange. If you are a victim of fraud, file a complaint with the appropriate authorities.

5. Moderation

We reserve the right to:

• Remove any classified that does not comply with our rules
• Suspend accounts in case of abuse
• Modify these terms at any time
